I carry strong side IWB and the P365 with the flat base magazine is much easier to conceal than the P365 XL because of the height differential. Milling we'll say $200.00. (give or take) At $600.00 that's more than the initial cost of a P365 to add a Red Dot. So..if you get a P365 for $500.00 and the Red Dot for $600.00 you now have an $1,100.00 P365 setup. If I had $1,100.00 to spend on a Red Dot setup I do not think that it would be a P365.. All the current P365 magazines has a "Made in USA" stamp on it, so I assume it's made by Check Mate. I am all for Made in USA products but Mec-Gar is the premier magazine manufacturer. In my opinion the P320 X-Compact is the perfect size for carry and shootability. But when I need real concealment the P365X gets the nod. But still working on the P365 X-Macro Tac-Ops. With over 4k rounds and 4 years EDC, reliability has been perfect on my standard P365. The pinky thing is easy to get over with training, or mag base extensions.
